Toric and Other Types of Colored Contacts

Many people wonder whether they can wear colored contact lenses if they have astigmatism, presbyopia, or other less common eye conditions. While the selection isn’t as wide for colored contacts as it would be for standard contacts, most manufactures do make colored contacts for astigmatism. Additionally, many colored contacts are available in bifocal and multifocal styles as well, so most people’s vision correction needs can be accommodated while giving your eyes a beautiful coloration.

Many colored contacts for astigmatism or presbyopia use gas permeable (RGP) lenses, so they may take a few days to get accustomed to before full comfort is experienced.
